We will update this list of opportunities regularly, over time. We also will provide recaps and other follow-ups to keep conversations going.
Provide Input on Nine Emerging Themes
We are shaping our strategy around nine emerging themes that have been driven by vigorous community input and which are reflected within the framework’s priority areas for new programs, investments, and partnerships. The four identified academic themes leverage our existing strengths while also citing additional areas of focus around which Clark can build robust thought leadership and inspire innovation and meaningful change. Undergirding these key academic areas are five foundational themes that will help us continue to establish priorities and craft the strategies needed to support them.
To explore these organizing principles in detail, comment on them, and suggest the initiatives and goals you believe will bring them to life, visit our new engagement platform to submit comments and questions.
Caucusing
As part of the campuswide visioning process, we are incorporating a new tool for engagement: caucusing. We invite members of the community to engage their peers in generating more focused ideas to advance through the strategic framework vetting process.
We invite you to explore these key documents to get started:
As always, we encourage you to submit your ideas for potential new programs, investments, or partnerships that target Clark’s five strategic areas of focus. Your ideas will be forwarded to the Steering Committee for consideration.

Student Meet and Greet
We asked students to reflect on what they envision for Clark’s future, posing these questions: What do you wish happened at Clark? What do you wish existed at Clark? What does a diverse, inclusive, equitable Clark look, taste, smell, feel like? What should never change about Clark?
Below is a snapshot of the themes and ideas that emerged.
